Seat Allotment and Admission Quota Details

45% of the seats are allotted by the Government of Karnataka through the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) based on CET rankings.
30% of the seats are filled through the COMEDK entrance examination.
25% of the seats are reserved under the Management Quota.
An additional 10% of the intake is allotted under the Lateral Entry Scheme, as per government norms.
5% of the seats are allocated by KEA under the Supernumerary Quota (SNQ), in accordance with the Government Order.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission

Candidates must have passed PUC / 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects:
Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Biotechnology, or Biology. They must have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the above subjects (40% for candidates belonging to reserved categories) as per Government norms.
Candidates must have passed a Diploma examination in Engineering/Technology from an AICTE-approved institution with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks
(45% for candidates belonging to reserved categories) in the relevant branch of study.
Candidates seeking admission under the Management Quota must have appeared in UG-CET/ COMEDK / DIPLOMA CET.

Note:

For KEA-CET Students: Submit the original documents as per verification slip issued by KEA. After completion of your admission at the college, update college joining report through KEA portal.
The DD or Cheque may be paid in favour of DR H N NATIONAL COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, Payable at Bengaluru.
