Dr. H N National College of Engineering is a proud member of the Board for IT Education Standards (BITES), a unique initiative established by the Government of Karnataka to promote quality and excellence in Information Technology (IT) education across the state. BITES serves as a collaborative platform involving academia, industry, and government to bridge the gap between industry requirements and academic delivery in the IT sector.

The primary objective of BITES is to enhance the employability and skillsets of IT graduates by fostering industry-relevant programs, faculty development initiatives, workshops, lectures, student competitions, and curriculum improvement activities. Through its member institutions, BITES plays a vital role in raising academic standards and aligning them with global trends and industry demands.
