Dr. H.N. National College of Engineering (HNNCE) announces the Annie Besant Merit awards at the beginning of each semester based on the performance of the previous semester (or year as the case may be) after the announcement of semester results

1. A certificate of merit with a gift voucher (or Cash) of Rs 3000/-. shall be awarded to students more than 10% of admitted students in each branch / program of study
2. with an SSLC and PUC percentage of 90% (or equivalent) and above during the first semester of study at the institute / college and
3. Subsequently students (with no backlogs) with an SGPA >=9.0 (or equivalent) and above at the conclusion of each academic semester
